Ship repair

Our company offers the following ship repair services at the repair berths and dry docks:

  • class repair and dry-docking:
    • measurement of residual thicknesses with following repairs of hull plates (certified by RMRS, LR, BV);
    • dry-docking of vessels of all types of dwt of 50,000 t. incl. cleaning and coating of hull, repair of propeller-rudder system, tail shafts and deadwoods, outboard fittings, anchors and anchor chains.
  • main and auxiliary engines incl. overhauls with extraction and repair/replacement of crankshaft, repairs of cylinder blocks, engine frames, turbochargers;
  • generators, electric motors, electric equipment and automation systems;
  • pipelines and fittings of all kinds;
  • auxiliary and deck mechanisms;
  • heat exchange units, boilers, insulation;
  • cargo gear;
  • technological complexes of fishing, processing and special purpose ships, including installation;
  • inspection and repairs of control and measuring equipment, life-saving appliances and radio and navigating equipment.

Our main advantage is our complex approach to every vessel, that includes provision of ALL required miscellaneous services that may be needed during the process of repair, and solution of all ship owners’ concerns:

  • supervision and control of the repair process, coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and ship’s crews work by our superintendents on board from the time of vessel’s arrival until the completion of repairs and sailing;
  • cooperation with technical design and research organizations in case the project of vessel modernization or repair is required;
  • coordination with class societies (RMRS, BV, LR, GL, NKK etc.) in order to ensure that all class and international conventions requirements are complied with during vessel’s repair and/or modernization and in order to arrange issuance of class and conventional certificates;
  • coordination with flag state to ensure compliance with flag requirements and change of flag if required;
  • development of documentation, plans, logbooks and drawings and following support for compliance with international conventions — ISM Code, ISPS, MLC etc.;
  • coordination with provider of GMDSS communication, if required – change of provider, installation, tuning and registration of radio and navigating equipment;
  • port agency services during repair, coordination with port authorities, including sanitary, customs and coast guard;
  • supply the vessel with coating materials, lube oil, bunkers and spare parts for the machinery and equipment;
  • initial vessel condition survey at sea or at the port of loading/discharging to develop the repair sheet and checking of validity of ship’s certificates;
  • it is possible to perform some repair works on board of the vessel during the voyage without pausing vessel’s operation by mobile repair teams;
  • arrangement of delivery or towing of the vessel to the port of repair.
